Animal Welfare Policy

When preparing our menu, we have many choices about the animals we use, ranging from how they are treated when alive, how they are killed, and how far they travel to reach us.

We have a very strong sustainability policy meaning "meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". This extends to how we use energy and water, dispose of waste, treat our land and provide food on the table.

There are some foods that our customers expect where, currently, there is no choice in how it is created (Foie Gras for example) or buying locally (eg Guinee Fowl from France or Marscarpone from Italy). However, with many others we are able to exercise our choice to buy:

Our menu is changed every six weeks, each menu states clearly on it which food is organic and which food is local.
